CORPORATE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is a time of fantastic growth for our industry. MacLean Engineering is happy to make the following announcement in order to better serve our customers in the underground mining industry.

Recently, we took a huge leap as a leading underground mining supplier by investing in our people and operations.

We have made a new investment in our Collingwood facility and added a new fully equipped plant in Owen Sound, Ontario. The new plant is coming up to speed in order to expand our capacity to meet industry demands for MacLean products such as Mechanize Bolting, Secondary Breaking and Utility vehicles.

In response to the rapid growth of MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. Limited and to meet our commitments of constantly improving our Product Support & Services, we are pleased to announce the formation of our new Senior Management Team under my direction.

Tim Leitch has been appointed to Vice President of Engineering based in Collingwood,
Ontario. Tim will oversee the Engineering team and cross-functional process of collecting and confirming customer input. In focusing on the product, engineering is a critical advantage that separates MacLean Engineering from our competitors. This will allow us to continue our growth into the future.

Bob Wraight has been appointed to Vice President of Manufacturing, responsible for our
manufacturing facilities in Collingwood and Owen Sound. In this period of high growth, one of Bob’s major tasks is to continue the expansion in output that builds on quality products, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Allan Gibson has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Product Support. Allan is
responsible for all Aftermarket activities which include, Field Service, Product Support,
Technical Service, Exchange, Return and Repair. In addition the complete rebuild process and the Sudbury and Thompson Service operations fall under Allan’s responsibilities.

John Robbins has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of International Market Development responsible for developing new markets internationally.

Mike Mayhew has been promoted to Vice President Corporate Sales and Marketing
responsible for developing the MacLean Corporate image and delivering the MacLean
message to corporate offices of the major mining companies, contractors, and consultants around the world.

In order to the support the Sales Process recently promoted; Brady Poirier – Regional Sales Manager responsible for Western and Eastern Canada. Dan Lemieux – Regional Sales Manager responsible for strategic accounts as well as Field Product Management.

FIRST OF ITS KIND IN THE MINING INDUSTRY

MacLean Engineering and Marketing Co. Limited, a Canadian and International supplier of Underground Mining equipment introduced its first version of the new innovative Mine Mate Series - Scissor truck to the Canadian Market.

The first new designed unit was delivered to FNX Mining at McCreedy West Mine.

“Scissor truck is the first unit of its kind. The new design features forward shift and side shift along with RDS (Remote Drive System) capabilities from the deck platform.

The goal was to develop a scissor truck with a forward and side shift option which provides the operator the flexibility to move the deck from the platform. This allows the operator to remain on the unit while utilizing the RDS (Remote Drive System) technology.

MacLean Engineering designs, develops and provides solutions to customers in the underground mining industry. While providing “world class” product and technical
support whichincludes commissioning, training and after market sales/service.
