FIRST OF ITS KIND IN THE MINING INDUSTRY

MacLean Engineering and Marketing Co. Limited, a domestic and International supplier of Underground Mining equipment introduced its first version of the new innovative Mine Mate Series - Scissor truck to the Canadian Market.
 
The first new designed unit was delivered to FNX Mining at McCreedy West Mine.

“SL3-033 Scissor truck is the first unit of its kind. The new design features forward shift and side shift along with RDS (Remote Drive System) capabilities from the deck platform. 

The goal was to develop a scissor truck with a forward and side shift option which provides the operator the flexibility to move the deck from the platform.   This allows the operator to remain on the unit while utilizing the RDS (Remote Drilling System) technology.
